Vacation in Lazise

Stately traces ...
Like all cities along the east bank, the rulers ""Della Scala"" from Verona also stocked Lazise with a mighty weir system. In addition to the city wall crowned with swallowtails, witnesses of this time (13th and 14th centuries) are also the six -towered fort. Behind its mighty fortified walls, the lovely old town is hidden with its harbor basin protruding far into the colorful lines of houses.

Worth seeing buildings ...
The Romanesque Church of San Nicolò, which was built at the end of the 12th century, is unmistakable, which was consecrated to the patron saint of the shipper. At the beginning of the 18th century, the dilapidated church was misused and served driving dealers and land strings as a nightly neighborhood. Today, a Sunday visit to this church offers an experience of a special kind: an evangelical service in German (May September). At the end of the last century, a theater was housed here until the church was restored in 1953 and found frescoes from the 14th century. A Venetian customs building, called Dogana Veccia from the 17th century, directly follows the church. The 900 square meter and ten meter high interior once served the Venetian fleet as a customs and warehouse. Concerts and exhibitions take place here today.

Sports & Freetime

Golf
There are currently 5 golf courses on Lake Garda, which are becoming increasingly popular. The environment is unique of almost all systems. Golfing on Lake Garda means joy in the Mediterranean hilly landscape between olive groves and cypresses, in the background the water of the lake glitters, which almost resembles the sea.

The golf courses are largely in a top state, juicy, well-groomed green and original design show that this sport is very important on the southern edge of the Alps.

The places are generally open all year round, German and Austrian players are also drawn to the evergreen fairways in winter. Typical for Italian golf courses is a day of rest a week (mostly Sunday). In addition, the fairways are only available at certain times, e.g. at lunchtime. All systems are coupled to hotels, enjoying green fairy as a hotel guest. The prices are very different depending on the season and space, but can be compared with German prices.
