Achensee is embedded between the picturesque Karwendel mountains and the majestic Rofan mountains in the heart of Tyrol. You can enjoy winter time to the fullest on 50 km of pistes from November to April.
The towns of the Achensee region (Achenkirch, Maurach, Pertisau, Steinberg) are on 930 m to 1.015 m above sea level, the highest located mountain station is on 1.870 m of height.
There are 55 km pistes, 2 cable lines, 6 chair lifts and 21 cable lifts available in the overall 4 ski-regions (Christlum ski-region, Rofan ski-region, Zwölferkopf/Karwendel ski-region, Rofan/Steinberg ski-region).
