Nothing can be seen from the traditional prudence of the early years. The ten -kilometer long and 70 -meter -wide beach has designated areas for free body culture. A beach chair rental is available to the bathers. In the guest's house, you can find out about events and leisure opportunities in the region. In addition, the house is used for interesting exhibitions and lectures. Other places for literary and artistic works are the ""Hans-Werner-Richterhaus"" and the ""Rolf-Werner Memorial"". In addition to the Wilhelmine villas and the many other buildings of the bath architecture, the tropical house in Bansin also includes popular excursion locations. Here you can observe around 150 mostly exotic animals. This includes, for example, iguanas, snakes, birds and monkeys.

Cultural Opportunities

From May to September, the theater tent ""Chapeau Rouge"" opens its doors in Heringsdorf. The Ahlbeck Summer Festival and the ""Vineta Festival"" also take place in summer. In three consecutive years, the history of the supposedly dampening city of Vineta is repeatedly told in three successive years. The spectacle on the Zinnowitz open -air stage can be seen. The largest harbor festival on the island of Usedom is celebrated in Karlshagen in July. For example, the Achterland, the part of Usedoms, which lies between a roller water and Szczecin Haff. This region has original nature and a lot of rest to offer. In the northwestern part of the island of Usedom you will find a tourist -unusual place. In addition to an information center in an old power plant, Peenemünde also offers a submarine of the Russian fleet, which can be visited. If you want to continue swimming despite rain, you can find yourself in the Ostseetherme, which is around four kilometers between Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck.
