Budapest city

The metropolis lies in the heart of Hungary. Budapest runs along the banks of the Danube, which, flows through the middle of the city and divides it into the two unequal city halves: the hilly, romantic buda and the flat modern plague.

Vacation in Budapest

Buda is the “open -air museum” by Budapest ...
lmost every house is under monument protection. Here is also the huge castle palace and the Gellértberg with statue of freedom and citadel. From here you have an impressive look at the whole city. The district was included in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In Pest you can visit the imposing parliamentary seat, which is almost 300 meters long and 100 meters high, take a walk through the streets lined with town houses or browse through the art and antique shops.

Cozy, global and ambitious ...
Everywhere imposing buildings, magnificent churches and large places are reminiscent of the historical past of the K.U.K. Monarchy. Nine bridges lie between the northern and southern end of the city, with the chain bridge - as the oldest and therefore most important - is also the symbol of the city. You should not miss the unforgettable view of the Fischerbastei, a monument to the seven former Hungarian tribes with seven towers. It rises on the Burgberg at the site of the medieval fish market in Buda. An oasis of calm is the popular margarethen island with huge trees and spacious lawns.
