Vacation in Bardolino

The mild climate, the sea and the fertility of the hills ...
have always been the wealth of Bardolino. It was precisely this natural wealth that in the past emperor, monks and noble families, who built castles, palaces and monasteries, argued around this earth. Over the centuries, extraordinary cultural assets and art treasures have accumulated, which are primarily attested by the towers and the remains of the walls of the Scaligeri, by the beautiful churches (often they are masterpieces of the Romanesque style) and by parks and villas from Venetian era .

One of the most respected holiday resorts in Italy ...
In Bardolino, modernity and past merged without a trace. There are over 50 hotels, varied holiday facilities and a dozen large campsites available for the recording of tourists in Bardolino and Cisano am See as well as in Calmasino on the hills. All the treasures of fishing and agriculture are used in the restaurants: the gastronomy uses the sea fish in dozens of dishes accompanied by the Bardolino wine (ruby red) or by the chiaretto wine (rosé) and by very fine olive oil. The Church of San Severo in Bardolino is a masterpiece of Romanesque art (the churches of the San Pietro and San Vito, as well as the parish of the Santa Maria in Cisano) also die from the same period); The small, fascinating church of the San Zeno is even older (9th century).

Sports & Freetime

Golf
There are currently 5 golf courses on Lake Garda, which are becoming increasingly popular. The environment is unique of almost all systems. Golfing on Lake Garda means joy in the Mediterranean hilly landscape between olive groves and cypresses, in the background the water of the lake glitters, which almost resembles the sea.

The golf courses are largely in a top state, juicy, well-groomed green and original design show that this sport is very important on the southern edge of the Alps.

The places are generally open all year round, German and Austrian players are also drawn to the evergreen fairways in winter. Typical for Italian golf courses is a day of rest a week (mostly Sunday). In addition, the fairways are only available at certain times, e.g. at lunchtime. All systems are coupled to hotels, enjoying green fairy as a hotel guest. The prices are very different depending on the season and space, but can be compared with German prices.
