Salzhaff
The Salzhaff is an inland water with access to the western part of the Baltic Sea in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The natural bank consists of cliffs, dunes and salt marshes and lies in the Wismar bay between the Boiensdorfer Werder peninsula and the Baltic Sea resort of Rerik.

The very popular but unfortunately poorly described European long -distance hiking trail E9 leads through the coastal landscape between Wismar and Rerik. A good hiking map is recommended.
